Female Founders & Friends
Female Founders & Friends is a monthly networking event at Sesh Coworking in Midtown Houston. It is designed to connect women entrepreneurs, creatives, and professionals who believe community fuels growth. Each month, this gathering creates space for meaningful conversations and strategic connections. In addition, it provides honest dialogue about building businesses, careers, and lives that actually work.
Rather than forced small talk, Female Founders & Friends (FFF) prioritizes real connection. Attendees arrive as they are, share what they are building, and leave with new relationships rooted in trust and collaboration. FFF attracts founders, freelancers, nonprofit leaders, and corporate professionals, conversations naturally cross industries and spark unexpected opportunities. You’ll discover a special camaraderie among female founders and also their friends, creating an environment where authentic networking happens. As a result, the room feels energized, welcoming, and refreshingly authentic.
Hosted at Sesh Coworking—Midtown Houston’s inclusive coworking space for women, creatives, and mission-driven leaders—this monthly meetup blends professional networking with community care. The setting encourages openness. Meanwhile, the format allows both introverts and extroverts to engage comfortably. Whether you are launching your first venture, scaling an established business, or exploring what’s next, you will find peers who understand the journey. These peers come from many fields.
This event is ideal for anyone searching for women entrepreneur networking in Houston, female founder events in Midtown Houston, coworking community events, women-led business networking, or professional meetups at Sesh Coworking.
Join us this month and become part of a community that shows up, shares openly, and grows collectively.
What do we mean when we say Female Founders & Friends?
Female Founders, yes means we’re mostly targeting women in business. However, that doesn’t mean you have to be female and/or a founder. You can be an ally, work for a woman, be thinking about starting your own business, or just want to be around a different kind of energy.
Friends – this means allies, funders (like VCs, banks, philanthropists, etc), fuelers (photographers, stylists, catering, the folks that support our economy system with their work). We welcome a diverse array of friends supporting Female Founders at every stage.
What to expect?
Coffee and friendly faces. You’ll check-in at the front desk, get a name tag and start mingling with a community of go-getters of all levels.
Want to sponsor breakfast and/or speak to Houston’s entrepreneurs?
Please email hello@theseshfoundation.org and we can discuss what that looks like. We love working with sponsors who are passionate about supporting the journey of Female Founders and friends in our network.
