On October 23, 2025, Sesh Coworking hosted the first-ever Good Human Awards – a celebration of the people who make Houston better just by being themselves. These are the doers, connectors, and changemakers who give their time, talent, and heart to create opportunities for others.
At Sesh, we’ve seen firsthand how the folks who show up, collaborate, and share space often end up shaping the communities around them. The Good Human Awards were created to honor those everyday leaders– the ones who speak names in rooms, open doors for others, and make space for everyone to grow.
This year, we recognized five honorees across five categories– Creative, Non-Profit, POC, Woman, and LGBTQ+– each representing the spirit of what it means to be a good human.
Meet our good humans!:

LGBTQ+ Honoree
Joseph W. Fincher – Hopes for Healing

Through his work with Hopes for Healing Counseling and Consulting and as co-founder of Compassion in Motion, he leads with empathy, equity, and action— he’s another good human creating spaces where healing, dignity, and belonging thrive.
The first Good Human Awards reminded us that community is built by the people who show up for each other. Every honoree we celebrated is proof that small actions can shape Houston into being a more inclusive, collaborative, and compassionate place.
To everyone who joined us in giving flowers, telling stories, and uplifting these incredible humans, thank you! You’re what makes Sesh, and this city, extraordinary.
