INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION

Hands-on experience inside Houston’s first female-owned coworking space that specializes in holding space for creatives, non-profits, women, communities of color and the LGBTQ+ community.

SUPPORT RESOURCE

The Sesh Intern is a multi-faceted opportunity to be behind the scenes in a small business which means experiencing the many facets of business ownership – tapping into skills such as customer service, sales, marketing, and operations. This position will report to the Sesh managers for guidance and resources to perform their daily responsibilities.

ROLE OPPORTUNITIES

• Payment processing for day passes
• Learning schedule management for space reservations via multiple systems
• Learn basic CRM skills via Hubspot
• Crash course in clearly communicating
• Developing friendly and hospitable customer service speak
• Organizational skills of maintaining multiple lines of communication
• Content development for in-house communications
• Potential for learning LinkedIn Content development
• Prepping for client meetings
• Attending team meetings
• Assist members with their needs and questions
• Developing a personal connection with the Sesh network of local small businesses, creatives, community leaders and non-profit organizations
• Additional opportunities may be incorporated relative to individual experience

JOB DETAILS:

• We are staffed Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
• Closed on all major holidays.
• Free Parking.
• $15/hr
• Business, casual attire.
• 15 hours per week, in-person, during business hours
