Women’s History Month: Female HR Experts Panel Discussion & Breakfast – Houston
Most HR panels are polished presentations where everyone plays it safe.
This isn’t that – our conversation centers on Female HR Experts willing to share real stories.
We’re bringing together female HR leaders who’ve actually lived it. They’ve seen the behind-the-scenes reality of advocating for employees while navigating corporate politics. These Female HR Experts have experienced the invisible labor of being the “office mom.” Furthermore, they’ve felt the frustration of policy changes that look good on paper but fail in practice. Also, they have learned hard-won lessons from being underestimated in the boardroom.
This Women’s History Month, join us for breakfast and a conversation that cuts through the LinkedIn highlight reel. Our panelists aren’t here to recite best practices from a textbook. Instead, they’re here to talk about what it’s really like to be a woman in HR. That includes the moments they’ve had to lean into awkward conversations about pay equity. It also covers the times they’ve been dismissed or had their expertise questioned. Finally, they will share how they’ve built careers while dismantling the outdated systems they inherited.
Expect Honesty.
Expect honesty about navigating male-dominated leadership teams. We’ll discuss the emotional toll of being the person everyone comes to when shit hits the fan. You will also hear about the specific strategies these women use to create actual change (not just performative diversity initiatives). In addition, they’ll share the resources and connections that moved them forward. We’ll talk about the mistakes they learned from. You’ll learn about the accomplishments nobody saw, because HR wins often happen quietly.
Come ready for real talk, not platitudes. Leave with actionable insights from women who’ve done the work. They have assembled the chairs at 7am, so to speak. Moreover, they have reshaped company culture from the inside out. Above all, Female HR Experts are driving changes and making history.
Complimentary breakfast provided. Because community-building happens when we break bread together.
