1. Chargers
For all of the devices. Coworking spaces notoriously provide a plethora of outlets, but what they won’t all have is the charger for your phone, tablet, laptop, headphones, etc. We recommend keeping all your chargers in a cute little zippy bag, so they stay in one place, don’t drift the bottom of your work bag and hopefully don’t get tangled.
2. Water bottle
Staying hydrated throughout the day is incredibly basic and super important when not in your typical environment. Especially nowadays when you’re wearing masks and doing some heavy mouth breathing behind that mask. Being in a coworking environment may also mean you may be talking more, not thinking about your water in-take or depending on what type of space you are in a bit far from the water refilling station.
3. Ring Light for your phone
If there’s one thing 2020 taught us, it was how to up our Zoom game. Bad lighting can be distracting and disappointing when trying to appear professional via video conferencing. A little extra lighting goes a long way to making you seem prepared and not to mention it also enhances your complexion, making you look better is always a win.
4. Headphones
Most coworking spaces are not as loud as a typical pre-covid coffee shop, but they’re also not libraries. Headphones will help you cancel out whatever background noise that’s distracting so you can focus on your work. Plus taking calls with headphones on keeps your work a bit more private for you and your clients.
5. Notebook & pencil case
This may seem old school, but sometimes you need a break from the glowing blue that your laptop puts out. Writing out your to-do list, research topics or taking notes during a call on pen and paper can help you focus, be creative, get more done and not to mention, help you remember all of the finer details.
