What time do you usually wake up? Is that a time that feels natural or painfully inconvenient for you?
I wake up for 8 am since recently having a child. Waking up isnt the hard part, getting together a infant is what makes it sometimes difficult because you can never tell what the morning will look like with him. Preparation is key, although you can never be prepared.
Walk us through your morning! We want the full timeline; step by step.
I wake up, take out the dog, hoping my baby still is sleep. Get him dressed after putting his clothes out the night before. Feed the dog, and attempt to carry out both this backpack and my purse to the car.
Remind you, I have a growing baby so all of those are definitely heavy.
Do you make time for breakfast? Whatcha eating?
I do not make breakfast, although sometimes I have time to grab some black coffee.
What are three things you must do or discipline yourself to do every morning?
I make sure to feed my dog, get out the house before 9 am, and also prepare myself for the day ahead.
Share three things you must throw in your bag before leaving and why.
I have to have a bottle made for the ride into town with my baby. I have to make sure that have a charger, and a lighter just in case I have to indulge in cannabis throughout the day.
What’s a habit you want to remove from your morning routine?
I don’t believe there is a habit I want to remove, but instead to be better prepared as I leave out to conquer the day.
What’s a product or hack that has improved your routine?
Hack: Prepare the night before. Make sure that I have a bowl to scoop the dog food with.
You’ve got a chaotic day ahead of you! What’s helping you manage your time?
My physical planner, Setmore app, and my brain and peace.
Your current favorite pre-zoom song?
What’s your favorite thing about the morning time?
I love being able to wake up, see another day, leave my dreams and be a mommy.
